Over the years, Kairos have been privileged to work on a variety of programmes, for broadcast both nationally, and internationally. From our award winning live TV coverage of the Eucharistic Congress in 2012 to live EBU & RTÉ TV Masses in parishes across the country and countless documentaries looking at faith and social justice issues, Kairos have travelled the world to help others share their stories.

Some of these stories were short, personal pieces, like the series "iWitness" which aired nightly on RTÉ. A minute long programme that looked at stories of social justice, and people of all faiths as they incorporated that faith into their daily lives. From music to prayer, from homelessness to education, "iWitness" shared stories from all ages, all faiths, and all counties in Ireland.

Other stories have been short and long form videos for annual faith celebrations like Diwali and Ramadan, as well as the highly commended "Pact of the Catacombs", which looked at the Pact that was signed in the Catacombs of Rome shortly after Vatican II, not to mention the thought-provoking "Mo Sheanathair: An Fuhrer Gealach" for TG4.

Our O.B. unit has traveled the length and breadth of the country, sending back live footage of everything from football matches to Midnight Mass to bio-diversity challenges; and our Kairos cameramen and women have produced content from almost every continent over the past three decades.

We've been asked to cover business conferences and religious chapter meetings, live-streaming them both publicly and privately, as well as live-streaming Graduation and Conferring Ceremonies for our neighbours, Maynooth University, and St. Patrick's College Maynooth. We regularly produce corporate training videos and promo videos for companies large and small, faith based documentaries and historical documentaries for broadcast on RTÉ & TG4, as well as documentaries for private clients.

This might make it sound like we're blowing our own trumpet a little, but, we're proud to be a small company with a big history. We don't just create commercial content for broadcast, we help to make media that matters. In a world of fake news and instantly forgettable reality TV, we like to help share stories that make you reflect a little.

That's why over the past few decades, as well creating our own content, we've also worked closely with people like Peadar King at KMF productions, editing many of their episodes of "What in the World", a programme that looks at life in places most people only read about in the papers - from Syria to Lebanon, from Palestine to Iraq, Peadar and his small crew (often just a cameraman and a local translator) help to share those stories. We're always happy to try and help large and smaller productions with rental of our facilities here, from studios, to cameras to our crew!

We were founded by an incredible man - Fr. Mick Melvin, SVD  - who had a simple vision to help spread The Word. Since Mick's sudden passing in 2008, we've tried to carry on that message in a manner that pays tribute to not only Mick, but the countless others who have helped keep The Word alive over the years. We'd like to think that he'd still enjoy what we do here on a daily basis - sharing stories, and making media that matters.
